Note: The admission procedure and eligibility criteria are being givens in the prospectus of the Govt. Medical Dental Institutes of Punjab.

Eligibility:

Applicants having domicile of Punjab and Federal Capital Area shall be eligible to apply for admission in Government Medical and Dental Colleges of Punjab.
Applicants must have secured 715/1100 unadjusted marks in F.Sc. (Pre-medical) or equivalent examination (excluding the marks of Hafiz-e-Quraan).
So Candidates requires to pass the Entry Test with a minimum of 40% marks.
So Candidates who possess qualifications equivalent to intermediate (Pre-Medical) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English can apply for admission. The equivalence of qualification and calculation of marks of the candidates holding qualifications other than F.Sc (pre-medical) determine by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, Islamabad. (IBCC)

The Chairman Admission Board reserves the right to scrutinize the educational documents of such applicants. In case any discrepancy found with regard to the eligibility/ calculation of marks, of any applicant, he refers the matter back to the IBCC for reconsideration in the light of discrepancy.

The applicant should be under 25 years of age on the last date of submission of the application.
Applicants from Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Northern Areas for admission to first-year MBBS/BDS shall take the Entry Test of Punjab.

So Sheikh Zayed Medical School establish in March 2003. So It is a public medical school located in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan. But Its name is to commemorate His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Therefore The Faculty of Medicine attaches to the Sheikh Zayed Hospital of Rahim Yar Khan. So It has 1,700 beds and is the largest hospital in the Rahim Yar Khan area.

Therefore Undergraduate and postgraduate medical education accredited by the Medical and Dental Council of Pakistan. So Every year, So the college passes the entrance examination held by the Lahore University of Health Sciences and admits 150 students with public results.
So Recognized by the Pakistan College of Physicians and Surgeons.

History

So Shaikh Zayed Medical College establishes in March 2003 in District Headquarter Hospital Rahim Yar Khan. So Professor Dr Eice Muhammad was its founding principal.

Therefore the Journal of Sheikh Zayed Medical School (JSZMC) the research and publishing centre of the research institute and the region and affiliates with the R&D support department of the Rahim Yar Khan Shaikh Zayed Medical School/Hospital. JSZMC a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes on a regular and timely basis since 2010. So It recognizes by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council of Islamabad. JSZMC is also a member of the Pakistan Association of Medical Editors (PAME). But We follow the guidelines of “Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals: International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE)”.
