Overview & History
Swabian University was established in Swabian Bar in 2012 by the KP government. As early as 2012, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government led by the ANP decided to use Swabi’s power generation and tobacco royalties to upgrade the Mardan campus of Abdul wali Khan University to a mature university district.
The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in 28 teaching departments including agriculture, law, economics, computer science, and linguistics.
