So Fatima Jinnah Women’s University or FJWU is a public university near Rawalpindi Mall Road, Punjab, Pakistan. But as the first women’s university in Pakistan, it is ranked 18th in the general category of the Pakistan Higher Education Commission. So, Neuroscientist, Dr. Najma Najam is the founding vice president of the institution. Therefore Students come from all over the country, as far as Balochistan, southern Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh. Between 1998 and 2008, more than 4,362 students received degrees.

Campuses

The main building is Victorian, built as a residence by Sikh brothers Mohan and Sohan Singh. So It became the Presidency of Pakistan around the mid-1960s. Therefore the rooms are steeped in history; personalities like Benazir Bhutto, Ch. Fazal Elahi and President Habibullah Khan Marwat, and President Zia-ul-Haq have walked the corridors. So Former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif inaugurated it as a gift for the nation’s daughters and their families on 6 August 1998. Therefore The university is unique in the fact that the Punjab Government funds it.

For girls who want to do BS and MS from this university and apply for admission in this university for some reason, the merit list was delayed by the university. This is a university government and all the students who want to get admission to this university first take this type of UET test and then they are able to get admission to this university.

How To Check Merit List

The section list is listed on the page. Now, this university has more than 40 departments and merit is very high in each department. Engineering has less merit than medicine. Students who want to get admission in engineering fields and have only 50% marks in Intermediate are not eligible because they cannot get admission without getting 60% marks in Intermediate and 50% marks in the entrance test. In the last session, the merit of all the medical departments ended at 75%. Most students think that this university announced merit lists only on the basis of entrance tests but this is wrong. The university announced that students who want to pursue an MS degree and do not have a graduate degree but complete all their semesters are not on the merit list. The university announced that students who do not take the university entrance test but wish to pursue a BS degree in engineering apply for the NTS test. So the university’s admissions committee has declared that students who do not submit the result sheets of the entrance test are not eligible for the merit test.
