Bacha khan Medical College is a public medical institution located in Mardan District, Pakhtunkhwa Province, Khyber, Pakistan. It names after Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, also known as Bach Khan. The college affiliates with Khyber Medical University and is accredite by PMDC.

History

The Medical College at Mardan inaugurates on 1 January 2010 in the area of Sheikh Malton Town Mardan, named after the great freedom fighter of the soil, Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, better known as Bacha Khan.

Campus

The existing campus of the Bacha Khan Medical College (BKMC) is located in the reorganized part of the Mardan Medical Complex. The campus itself covers more than 500 canals and is the teaching hospital of BKMC. It has all the necessary infrastructure for MBBS and BDS until the last year. The academic building has a lecture hall, library, SLRC, faculty, and department offices. Mardan Medical Complex (MMC), with all major and minor specialties and the most advanced diagnostics (CT scanner, MRI) and support services, is the teaching hospital of BKMC. The first and second phases of MMC complete, and the total bed strength currently exceeds 400. The third phase approves and will increase the bed strength to 800.
