This board forms in 1968 under the West Pakistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. The board divide into Rawalpindi and Faisalabad in 1978 and 1988 respectively. The four districts of the board are now under its control and these are Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, and Bhakkar districts. BISE Sargodha Board has established its position around various boards of Punjab and now it has raised its standard among other boards of Punjab. The main objective of the Board is to guide reasonable and completely clear matriculation and intermediate examinations in its subordinate parts.
The BISE Sargodha Board has three or four regions under its jurisdiction and students from these regions come to participate in the annual and supply examinations of Intermediate. There are many institutions that stand with the Sargodha Board and the Board guides the examinations on a fixed timetable for all the affiliated institutions and students.
